This blog serves a few different purposes. I first started it when Aaron and I got married because it seemed like a married thing to do. I updated it every 6 to 12 months, however, after we had Julian I felt obligated to update more often so that our loved ones far away could see all the wonderful stuff happening in Julian's life. Now I think that it serves as sort of a journal/scrap book of Julian's little life, and ours, as well as a little bit of introspection. After Julian's little scare when he was born I felt so appreciative of his life and the blessing that he was to ours. He is nine months old now and I can't believe what a beautiful light he is to ours lives and I can't imagine life without him. He is full of energy, and not a perfect sleeper, he gets cranky from teething but above all he is full of life and smiles and laughter. He is such a special guy.
Yesterday we went to his check up with the neurologist, psychologist, ear doctor, etc. to make sure that Julian is developing properly. We have to go back in two months to check out his ears but besides that he is wonderful and couldn't be better. He is doing a lot of stuff that an older baby would do and just seems so healthy and smart. It is so relieving to go and have the doctors say that he is better than perfect. I still worry about losing him sometimes (every time he is asleep) and don't know when or if I will ever stop... I am just so grateful that he is here and part of our family.

You are so blessed to have him! He's such a great kid! And holy cow, he is doing so awesome. I'm glad he's getting a clean bill of health.
